Light-Frame Innovation Lecture
Nov 02, 2021
Innovation in light-frame construction starts by understanding the details. In this session, we’ll begin with a technical deep dive into interior floor-ceiling assemblies, exploring options available to meet fire, acoustic and structural performance requirements. Next, we’ll hear from a project team that is pushing the height limits of light-frame construction. The architect, developer, and structural engineer will share the benefits and challenges they faced during the development, design, and construction of two six-story light-frame projects in Tacoma, Washington.
