CENTRL Office Sacramento
Built in 1959 for the Central Valley National Bank, this three-story building sits in the heart of downtown Sacramento. We approached this adaptive reuse project wanting to feature the surrounding historic architecture. Only blocks from the Capitol Building and state government offices, we immediately recognized the location as the site's biggest asset and wanted to elevate the design to highlight the unmatched views from the building's interior and rooftop.
We coordinated a modern white exterior with black finishes to compliment CENTRL Office's brand, who occupy the second and third floors. The coolness of the exterior is balanced with modern wood elements to create a warm and relaxing co-working space on the building's interior. The ground floor is activated by retail space and a Portland-based favorite beer hall chain, Loyal Legion. We continued to add value to the property by creating a 3,500 square foot tented rooftop event venue where guests can enjoy the surrounding skyline all year long.
