Alum Eugene

ALUM Eugene is a new 13-story development at the vicinity of University of Oregon’s Eugene Campus. The roughly quarter-block site will provide a mix of 77 for-sale one and two-bedroom condominiums alongside exclusive member amenities that include a clubhouse and pool. When residents aren’t enjoying game day, parent weekends, or reunions alongside other UO alums, the ALUM brand will manage, maintain, and rent out the units - operating similarly to a hotel. It’s the perfect solution for season ticket holders, or those who want to enjoy other events and activities the University has to offer.

The tower’s facade is visually and structurally divided between amenity levels and club residencies. Levels one and two sit perpendicular within the contextual urban framework and extend the historic University architecture with its arched windows and brick cladding. The upper 11 stories shift in position and materiality atop level two’s setback rooftop amenity deck. The scalloped tower angles away from the orthogonal grid, transitioning from city to campus and strengthening the gateway along 13th Avenue.
